Blackberry & Brush Removal
We clear invasive growth — blackberries, Scotch broom, and heavy overgrowth — completely and properly, so it doesn't just come back next season.
Serving Woodinville · Kirkland · Kenmore · Bothell · Redmond · Snohomish · Monroe and surrounding areas
Invasive Plants Are a Real Problem in the Pacific Northwest
Himalayan blackberry is one of the most aggressive invasive species in Washington State. Left alone for even one season, it can take over an entire fence line, slope, or corner of your property. The same goes for Scotch broom, English ivy, and other species that thrive in our climate and crowd out everything around them.
Cutting it back isn't enough. Blackberry roots can extend several feet underground and will regrow vigorously if not properly addressed. We remove the canes, dig out the root mass, and haul everything away — leaving you with cleared ground ready to replant, fence, or simply maintain.
We're experienced with steep slopes, wooded edges, fence lines, and overgrown corners that have gone neglected for years. No patch is too thick or too far gone.
What We Remove

- Invasive grasses and weeds
- General heavy overgrowth and brush piles
- Storm-fallen or dead vegetation
What's Included
- Cutting and clearing of all above-ground growth
- Root extraction where accessible
- Full haul-away of all removed material
- Optional: site grading or mulching after clearing
- Optional: recommendations for what to replant or install
Good Timing Matters
Late winter and early spring — before blackberries leaf out — is the easiest time to clear them. The root systems are most visible and the canes are easier to work through before the season's growth begins. That said, we work year-round and can tackle overgrowth at any stage.
After the Clearing
Once the area is cleared, we can help you figure out what comes next. Many clients opt for:
- A new fence along a cleared fence line
- Sod or lawn installation on the reclaimed area
- Garden beds with proper ground cloth and bark
- Native plantings that are both low-maintenance and resistant to reinvasion
We can handle all of that in-house, so you don't have to coordinate with multiple contractors.
